I got to look and feel this particular piece in person at a convention and was pleased with the quality. It didn't feel cheap and it felt appropriate that a portion of the proceeds went to the artist.
So where did the "oops" come from? It seemed that I happen to be the lucky winner of a misprint with the same artwork on both ends (also inverted). This is rather a rarity and there is no real way of knowing as the item was sealed in wrapping for either party to know.
As humorous as the error was, I reached out to see if this could be resolved and I am pleased to say thay I got help in a timely manner.
The transparency and courtesy is what made this an overall positive experience. Well, what are you waiting for? Don't hesitate to get yourself a waifu!
I love this so much. I had a problem with shipping. The costumer service was fast and understanding. I would recommend this place for my friends
To put it bluntly, whatever 2WT blend is being used, it's pretty bad. At this price point, you'd expect something closer to a premium cover (fules, P80, etc).
The art is good and shipping was quick and free, but that's about it.
Also, the artist signature is on the actual cover (the small one by the calf). Just FYI.
EDIT: Got in contact with the store and they mentioned they are keen on improving their products and appreciate the feedback and offered a refund.
Ultimately, it is original art so if you really like the design, and don't like waiting for pre-orders, maybe it is worth the extra cost.
Hello Alex,
We understand that not many other 2-Way Tricots can compete with such brands as P80, Fules, A&J and other Japanese manufactures, however to say our material is bad with such high standards of comparison is a bit extreme. Our cost is not necessary based only on the material, but the art design and the limited quantity that is made per design as we do not like to mass produce our dakimakuras. If we were to move with Japanese manufactures, the cost would only go up from there.
We do appreciate your comment and take every feedback seriously as we will strive to improve our quality for our customers and fans that support our artist and us.
